The Bully's exposed leg joints and briefly opened head are the weak points you should target in Arc Raiders, not its armored torso. Your default aim should be one yellow joint, with the head opening treated as a short opportunity between leg shots. Build your loadout around accurate fire and movement control, using ARC Raiders Items to review equipment for those openings.
Which Arc Raiders Bully leg joint should you target first
Target whichever yellow leg joint you can consistently see from cover, then keep shooting that same joint until the limb breaks. Each of the Bully's four legs offers a target, but spreading damage across different legs makes focused destruction harder. In a squad, call out the chosen leg so everyone attacks the same part while another player draws its attention.
The Hullcracker is a strong option for joint shots, provided you actually land rounds on the exposed section. A sheltered firing angle matters more than unloading quickly, especially while the Bully is changing direction. Take the shot you can place, then return behind cover before its next attack forces you to move.
Your objective also changes which part deserves your ammunition. Bait, Fetch, Blast accepts destroying the whole Bully, its head, or four legs as alternative ways to complete its destruction requirement. You don't need to accomplish all three, so check the task before committing to a lengthy limb-by-limb fight.
When does the Arc Raiders Bully expose its head weak point
The Bully opens its head immediately before firing, exposing two yellow canisters for roughly half a second. A well-timed hit can interrupt the attack and leave it stationary for several seconds. Keep your aim ready, but return to the leg joints when the opening closes instead of chasing damage through the surrounding armor.
The mounted cannon offers a separate targeting opportunity after you remove the armor around its housing. That exposes a yellow weapon weak point, and destroying the cannon removes its gunfire while the machine remains mobile. Keep a solid obstacle nearby even after breaking the weapon; a moving Bully is no reason to step into its path.
You don't have to force a head shot to make progress. The legs are easier to target from a suitable angle, and the Hullcracker can work efficiently against them without waiting for the head animation. Treat a clean head opening as a bonus opportunity, not a reason to leave shelter with an unfinished reload.
Which cover and equipment help you land Bully weak-point shots
A sheltered building and accurate joint fire give you a practical starting setup on Pendola Pass. The Railyard is one encounter area, but patrol locations vary, so find your firing position before you provoke the machine. Choose a room that lets you step out for shots and withdraw behind solid cover to recover.
A Tether Launcher or Showstopper can briefly restrict the Bully's movement and make difficult joint shots easier. Use that pause to concentrate damage on your selected weak point, especially with a weapon that needs time to charge. After a charge overshoots you, its roughly four-second turn-back provides another opportunity to attack the same leg.
Cover still needs an escape route because the Bully attacks at both close and long range. Its ranged explosives can pressure an elevated position, while its rotating close-range weapon means getting behind it isn't dependable protection. Move when an attack reaches your angle, then resume accurate fire from a position where you can retreat again.
Once it breaks apart, check the body pieces for the Bully Fragmenter before spending your remaining time searching scattered limbs. Recover your health and reload before leaving the wreckage, then choose a sheltered route toward extraction. For your next attempt, use ARC Raiders Loot buy to review supplies that support your chosen weapon and movement-control plan. |
