Ber runes in Diablo 4 Season 15 are crafting ingredients for Enigma chest armor and Infinity weapons, with Infinity requiring two copies per craft. Enigma uses one Ber alongside Jah and Ith, so your next equipment upgrade determines how many you should reserve. Planning your D4 Gold spending around that target helps you cover merchant purchases and the gems needed to finish your recipe.

Which Diablo 4 equipment should you save Ber for

Save one Ber for Enigma or two for each Infinity attempt, depending on the item your build needs. Enigma combines a Common white chest armor base with Jah, Ith, and Ber in the Horadric Cube. Check that you have the complete recipe before committing your rarest ingredient; a lone Ber doesn't finish the armor.

Infinity needs two Ber, one Mal, and one Ist with a compatible weapon base. Its damage can roll as fire or physical, and the Whirlwind setup described here wants the physical result. That makes two Ber enough for an attempt, while getting the preferred result may take additional crafts.

Turning Ber into Jah is another use, but it competes directly with those equipment goals. Two Ber plus one Grand Sapphire produce Jah, consuming the same Ber quantity required for one Infinity craft. Before making that conversion, decide which finished item you're trying to complete first.

What does the Diablo 4 Ber merchant route cost

The Cabochon Merchant can sell Ber for 50 million in currency, while each paid inventory refresh costs 666 Forgotten Souls. Ber appears rarely, so having enough currency for the purchase doesn't ensure you'll see one during your visit. You also get one free refresh each hour, which gives you a smaller spending option when your material supply is tight.

Access starts with Gutter Filth and Bauble Day in the Undercity War Plans tree. Activate beacons, defeat a Portal Prankster, then finish the final boss to find the Cabochon Merchant near the reward chests. Once the merchant appears, you can make purchases and refresh the stock during that encounter.

Set your material limit before you start refreshing. Fifty paid refreshes consume 33,300 Forgotten Souls, and that expenditure guarantees no particular number of Ber or precursor runes. Buying useful Lo, Ohm, or Vex can advance your craft even when Ber itself doesn't appear, provided you've checked the remaining ingredients.

Which Cube ingredients complete your Ber recipe

Two Lo and one Grand Topaz produce Ber in the Horadric Cube. The progression leading into that recipe uses two Ist with a Flawless Ruby for Vex, two Vex with a Flawless Emerald for Ohm, and two Ohm with a Flawless Diamond for Lo. Check that the Cube accepts your ingredients before buying the rest of a crafting batch.

Starting entirely from Vex requires eight Vex, four Flawless Emeralds, two Flawless Diamonds, and one Grand Topaz for a single Ber under that progression. The gems deserve their own budget: the merchant's listed Grand gem price is 500 million, ten times the listed direct Ber price. A precursor purchase makes more sense when you've already got the gems to finish the chain.

You can collect gem fragments through Nightmare Dungeons or gather gems during Baal runs to reduce merchant expenses. That lets you spend your currency on missing runes while ordinary play supplies part of the crafting requirement. Keep the Grand Topaz reserved until you're ready to make Ber.

Choose your Enigma or Infinity target, check your Cube ingredients, and set a Forgotten Souls limit before your next merchant visit. You can then browse D4 Gold for sale to cover a planned purchase, with your rune target and gem costs already worked out.
